Submit a request to provide testimony at the
08/25/2021 Joint Committee of House Health, Welfare and Institutions and Public Safety and Senate Judiciary and Rehabilitation and Social Services to Study Staffing Levels, Employment Conditions, and Compensation at the Virginia Department of Corrections meeting.
Citizens can speak to topics of interest before the commission or joint subcommittee by attending remotely via Zoom™ and speaking in the presence of appointed members.
Written testimony can also be submitted for review by the appointed members. These testimony methods can be used together. Per policy, dial-in options are not available.
NOTE: Due to time constraints, not all citizens who sign up to speak will be able to do so and is at the discretion of the Chair.
All citizens wishing to testify remotely must turn on their camera, with face fully visible, before being recognized to speak. To facilitate a respectful, deliberative exchange, non-religious face coverings are prohibited.
Written comments are always provided to the commission or joint subcommittee members for review. All streaming interim meetings are shown on the House Meeting Schedule.
