Why is it okay to toss taxpayer’s money into the landfills? For example, used state funds for furnishings (desks, tables, chairs, shelves etc) that have been on the state auction list, but not sold by a specific time are trashed. In the meantime, the agencies have to find a location to keep the furniture. More money ! What about donating them to charities, religious organizations, or homeless shelters? Is it hypocritical of the government to be picky about following mandatory and non-mandatory.
