Halt all military aid and settlement material and monetary aid and funding for illegal settlements in Israel. Stop this illegal land grab and atrocity against Palestinians in their native lands. Stop with the slick clauses to support Israel mandated in all fine print and materials school or work related. Drop all charges against college students who spoke up to side with natives in Palestine and against the colonization and apartheid government of israel. Stop politicians from accepting money from foreign entities such as aipac. They need to hold domestic issues at heart and drive our political arena with an America first attitude. Make America great, place America first.

HB1721 - Condemnation of conservation or open-space easement; compensation, Uniform Easement Relocation Act.

HB 1721 Relocation of Easement (Uniform Easement Relocation Act) Thank you for taking my comments, I am Janet Rorrer from Patrick County. We have an issue with a road easement over my son and his wife’s property here in Patrick County. The current road by their home is within 12 feet to the side of the house and 10 feet to a barn. A new road was built due to safety and the other parties change in the use of the road. This has been an on going problem for several years. Many landowners in Virginia have similar problems with roads over their property. These type roads over farm lands have changed over the years. People did not travel much in the horse and buggy days when these roads were created and most were related to one another. Roads can be relocated and should be when they cause a danger to humans or animals. Virginia Code 55.1-304 has a 10 year period involved, the new bill would change that. However the last sentence number 2 would not help people like my son. I humbly ask you to remove the clause stating “easement created on or after July 1, 2025”, and include any parties that have problems with relocating an easement. This bill would help many Virginia Farm Land Owners. Thank you for your time. Janet H. Rorrer 539 Dominion Valley Lane Stuart, Virginia 24171 (276) 694-4300

HB1730 - Personal injury or death by wrongful act; liability of employer to vulnerable victims.
Last Name: Hackler Organization: Virginia Assisted Living Association (VALA) Locality: Virginia

VALA opposes HB1730 as it creates a strict liability bill that penalizes an assisted living facility that has done its due diligence in abiding by the requirements of the law, including background checks on every employee. If the business failed to abide by the law or was negligent in its actions, then we could understand the allocation of liability; however, an employer that had no warning of a future criminal act of an employee that passed the background required by law should not be punished for the act of the employee that was unpredictable. This bill will create significant liability on an already strained industry. HB1730 unfairly targets industries that must rely on direct interactions with individuals in order to provide services. By increasing the liability of such industries, then the associated cost of insurance will increase, which will then increase the cost of care by the consumers. We ask you to oppose HB1730.
