SB 311 (Ebbin)
The League of Women Voters of Virginia supports SB311. It is time
that we remove the 2006 amendment that specifically calls for marriage to be between “one man and one woman.” To be in step with current federal law and to enshrine and protect the right to marry for all Virginians, we need this implementing legislation in addition to the constitutional amendment.
