SB162 (Locke)
As the LWV strongly supports the proposed constitutional amendment to automatically restore voting rights to those who have completed their term of incarceration for felony conviction and those who have been adjudicated to retain the ability to understand the act of voting, we also support SB162. This bill, like HB964, which did pass the House, provides the requisite changes to the state Code to make this long overdue change a reality.
