I oppose SB348: This is overly broad, for example, there is no way to clean or repair a firearm in ones home since setting it on the table will make one a criminal, and does not provide for situations where firearms are rendered inoperable for such purposes. I also think requiring ammunition storage to be at the same level as the firearm is too far.

Every one of you have taken an oath to defend the constitution of the United States of America. You also took an oath to uphold the constitution of Virginia. By passing these bills, you have broken your oath. The people of the great state of Virginia will remember this.

I oppose SB348. The bill's definitions are worded too strictly and overly encroach on firearm handling in homes with minors and prohibited persons.

I oppose SB348, the restrictions imposed are both unenforceable and unrealistic. This puts additional burdens on responsible gun owners only.

This is overreach. All gun restrictions being an infringement. You have no authority to tell me what i can and cant do inside my own home. I'll be the judge of what being safe is while inside my own residence while legally owning a firearm. Stop wasting time and tax money on introducing things like this. Its a disgrace.

I oppose SB348.

Last Name: KENDALL Locality: West Springfield

I oppose SB348 because the way it is worded is so strict you could not take a firearm out of the safe to clean it with a minor in the house.
