The attached letter was sent to the Virginia General Assembly from the President & CEO of the American Gaming Association, which represents the legal, regulated gaming industry in the United States. It states the organization's strong opposition to legislative effort such as HB 590 that would legalize so-called "skill" game machines, which the legislature has correctly determined in the past are illegal gambling devices and which are currently banned. That ban should not be overturned.
