Landlords can now charge a fee eg. $10-$15 if tenants pay using an online portal or credit card. HB2218 would also require receipts to be given if a tenant pays with cash or a money order. We support eliminating unnessary fees for tenants and ensuring that landlords are paid rent they are owed.
