I work with individuals impacted by human trafficking. Although my work is primarily with sex trafficking victims*, adjusting the language from "sex trafficking" to "human trafficking" for the response coordinator position includes and recognizes labor trafficking as a part of human trafficking that requires acknowledgement. *The use of the word victims with individuals impacted by trafficking is intentional as opposed to "survivor" because acknowledgement of their victimization is crucial for their recovery. I support this adjustment and ask that you vote YES.
