HB1497 doesn't make any sense, please do not pass this. Why does Hampton get back into State funding and what makes VMI to potentially lose State assistance? If the University is going just fine, as indicated by recent D1 championships and NIL deals, why does it need to be put on the backs of taxpayers again? Please keep funds going to organizations already on the dole and clearly need more funding as shown by all the other bills focused on increasing spending on education.
